Job Overview We are seeking an entry-level Legal Assistant to support attorneys and case managers with the day-to-day administrative and procedural work of managing cases. In this role, you will help keep cases moving forward efficiently while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
This position plays a key role in supporting the team and helping deliver excellent service to clients through organization, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in monitoring and tracking the progression of active claims and cases
Help track the progress of cases and claims
Follow confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines
Communicate with insurance adjusters to gather information
Save and organize documents in the firm’s system
Update case information in the database
Draft basic letters and documents
Assist with filing insurance claims
Help manage calendars and important deadlines
Prepare and send Letters of Representation
