Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented and experienced content strategy with a strong knowledge of SEO and digital marketing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to write clear, concise, and engaging copy that resonates with our target audience. The person in this position will become the in-house steward and editorial champion of all content created for external marketing purposes. You will lead the charge in developing a comprehensive content calendar (working alongside our Social Media Manager). You will also be responsible for translating our brand guide into a content guide that helps us to communicate our story through content.

Requirements:
- Minimum of (5) years of experience as a copywriter
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SEO tools and software

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead in the development of Content Style guide, working alongside internal and external teams.
- Own and manage the overall content calendar for all content production. This will be a collaboration with our Digital Marketing Director and Social Media Manager.
- Write and edit marketing materials. Primary content types will include web pages, blog posts, emails, digital media ads, social media content, and other content as needed. May also assist with the creation of ad copy and scripts for TV, radio, online video, billboards, print ads, etc.
- Serve as agency and freelance writers' primary point of contact for all things related to content, content marketing, and SEO.
- Provide weekly and monthly insights relating to our overall results with our content strategy.
- Stay up-to-date on marketing trends and best practices
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent grammar, punctuation, spelling, and proofreading skills
- This position requires a self-starter with proactive initiative, excellent follow through on tasks, strong verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to clearly communicate to all levels of employees and management
- Consistently deliver results with a sense of urgency
- Maintain and manage highly sensitive information
